Welcome to Sts. Peter & Paul School, located in California, KY. We have been serving students and their families for over 150 years.

We are a Catholic School, home to students in PreK to 8th grades. As a Catholic community, we strive to help each child grow spiritually and excel academically. Our school is blessed to have caring educators, parishioners, parents, and volunteers, who instill the Gospel message of love and the truth that Jesus came to bring.

We are a Community built on generations of families and parishioners who are dedicated to volunteering their time, talent, and treasure to serve our students and to instill the value of service in them so that they too, will grow to know the importance of extending service and Christ’s love to others. Students grow in understanding of the call to share with those in need. They collect donations for the homeless, make sandwiches for the hungry, gather canned goods, make blankets for the poor, and visit the sick and the homebound.

We are a Supportive Place of Learning, where teachers work together and are committed to helping children succeed in their education and in life. Our small student-to-teacher ratio/class sizes offers a nurturing atmosphere where teachers can connect with students personally and provide invaluable individual attention in order to foster caring relationships and facilitate personalized learning experiences while upholding high academic standards. 

We are a Place of Mentoring, where many opportunities are provided for students to become engaged in activities and learn from adults outside of school time. Children participate in the Lego League, in Choir, as members of the Academic Team, and in many and varied sports programs. Eighth grade students are “buddies” to first grade students and instill in their little buddies a sense of confidence through positive, caring relationships.

We are a Future-Oriented Place. The school has Chromebooks, iPads, PC’s, Smart Technology, and abundant library available for students. Our staff is qualified according to Kentucky State Law and our Pre-K program is exemplary and has garnered a 5-STAR rating from the State of Kentucky.
