It’s that time of the year again to begin our Advent Chap-Stick collection for the “guests” of the Parish Kitchen in Covington.  Chap-Stick and small bottles of hand lotion can be left in the collection boxes in the rear of church or in the entrance of school.  These items are in great demand during the winter months and are greatly appreciated among the less fortunate.  Please remember those in need as you do your Christmas shopping.  The collection will run through Friday, Dec. 22nd.

HALLOWEEN PARTIESTuesday, October 31st- Kindergarten @ 10:30-11:50; Grades 1-8 @ 2:00. Costume Walk will begin around 3:00 and all parents are welcome to attend!  Students may be out of uniform all day IF they wear black & orange shirts/sweatshirts and/or pants.  Jeans are also acceptable.  (Face paints/colored hair in the afternoon only please).  Students may also bring a costume to change into for the parties.  While we,  as a Catholic School,  encourage Christian role models among the students both at Halloween and throughout the year and always discourage the forces of evil that exist in our society,  no restrictions will be placed on children’s costumes during our Halloween celebration other than observing our policy on appropriate and modest apparel. Parents of the younger students are welcome to come to school and help with the children’s costumes.

We had our 7th annual “WALK FOR OUR LIBRARY/TECHNOLOGY” on Friday, October 6th.  Our school's library and technology relies solely on donations to operate and upgrade our equipment. This money will help our school librarian keep up-to-date books for our children to read as well as upgrading our school's technology. We raised over $3400.00! Way to go Cardinals!
