Lego Fix-a-Lots

Congratulations to the SPP Lego-Fix-a-Lots, Brandon Bezold, Evan Callahan, Tyler Kreidenweis, and Derek Martin, for placing 4th at state in the RCX Robotics competition on March 29th.  They were within 11 points (very small margin for a robotics score) of 2nd place!  The Lego robotics teams at SPP are just one way students can implement STEM subjects using creative, strategic, innovative, and critical thinking skills to complete in a fun atmosphere against others schools in KY! Great job boys

Staff changes for 2018-2019

posted Apr 12, 2018, 11:20 AM by Marianne Twehues

I want to give you an update about the 2018-2019 school year.  There has been an additional staffing change for next year.  Mrs. Yelton will not be returning.  We truly appreciate the years she has taught at SPP and her success with our Junior High Math program.  The current positions of Mr. Coleman and Mrs. Yelton will be condensed into one full time Math and Social Studies teacher.  I will be interviewing candidates with the hope of hiring someone in the next couple of weeks.  The search for next year’s 1st and 2nd grade teacher is going very well.  I hope to have this person hired in the next week or so.   As of now, the grade arrangements are staying the same.  But it is very important top return your registrations forms, which are due tomorrow, so if changes need to be made we can do so in a timely manner.
